28th January – 3rd February
This week the boys all went back to preschool and school. Two days for Archie this year and just one for Eli. It was so quiet the first day that they were all not here… so quiet. I had to turn the radio on.
On the day before Will goes back to school, he is usually the only one home as the others seem to always go back a day before him. We have a little tradition, on that day after we drop the little boys off, we head on down to the cafe at the marina and have ourselves a big breakfast and hot chocolates. We have a nice chat about ‘stuff’ and ‘things.’
Eli and Arch on their way to preschool for their fist day together for 2013.

Will and I head off to the cafe for some yummy hot chocolates and breaky.

Trying to balance the spoon on his nose, cause that’s what you do when you’re 8 and at a cafe.
Playing nicely together with cars and the car garage.
Mum’s legs make for a very good track.
Cutie! So hot today, his curls are sodden and flat.
Playing on the bunks, which soon turned back into a pirate ship.

Spag bol. that’s exactly how you eat it buddy. Or you could try Archies twist then shovel technique below?

First day back to school for William for 2013. The younger two insisted on being in the pic, but then didn’t really want to co-operate. I’m putting it in here because I think it’s hilarious
I think most of us have pics like this on the first day back at school.

oh these are gorgeous pics!! Love some back to school cuteness!!! How old are Eli and archie? that is cool they get to go to preschool together! is preschool for 2 yrs where you are? Btw Lily has a skiphop backpack and lunch bag too – so cute huh, but she doesnt have the coordinating shorts, heehee – how gorgeous is that! love the ‘mummy and oldest boy’ brekkie too – very special x
Gorgeous photos, I just love the school bag ones!
Katie, I love your back to school focus this week. Your little tradition with Will is such a sweet one. Nice to do something special with your eldest.
My fav shot would have to be Will in his uniform with Eli and Archie standing on either side. Doesn’t look like any of the boys were ‘feeling it’ that morning! Love that you kept it real and included it
